- Post subject: Best Legal MP3 Sites
|
Since my life has been transported to a town with little to no music purchase areas (chain stores etc.) and I don't always find the effort to go on eBay and track down music, anyone got good legal mp3 sites that have good artists at a better price than Aus iTunes and the like?
I found mp3ap/mp3xx which have .10c a track.

I know about that but I have a weird thing about trying to give back to the artists. Hence the amount of physical music I own.

I think Jhereko asked something similar, but I don't know if he had any success. It's a pity there's no Amazon Australia (yet), because they are cheaper than iTunes and have a great selection of music.

If you find anywhere else, please update and let us know. I personally don't use iTunes either, but they do have global coverage and probably the biggest catalogue. Amazon used to provide free shipping to Australia from some of their stores, I'm not sure if that's still the case (however, there'd still be an issue with delivery speed). I've not tried buying MP3's from Amazon to see if this is possible from outside your 'local' store. or if it's restricted based on your IP address (Amazon Spain opened fairly recently).
