Not the best late 90's pop rock album, but still solid _________________ Nothing really matters, anyone can see, nothing really matters, nothing really matters to me.

When this first came out I wanted to vomit.
Now somehow I think it's actually WAY better than Oasis (who I kind of liked when they first came out... but give me a break, I was like 12).

It really is. As much as people like to make fun of them, they had at least a handful of truly great songs. The first 3 in particular from this album are undeniably excellent songs.

Not sure I would call it alt-rock like some apparently do, but there's a lot of absolutely undeniable pop genius on this record. Some of the best ear worms of the late 90s, while sneaking in some very dark themes. Good stuff.

Side B is great too. The singles are wonderful and darker than their titles suggest...Semi-Charmed Life and Graduate. But one of the great surprises when I heard this album was 3eb's range. Some of the best tracks are the longer slower-paced ones...Motorcycle Drive By and God of Wine. This album has it all. It's higher on my overall chart than it should but it's on there for good reason.
