While I don't like it as much as I did back in the early 2000s, I still do give this album a spin about once or twice a year. It's consistent, just like Meteora, but I think this album is more diverse, and that's why I like it slightly more.
Say what you want about Linkin Park, but at least they had an identity with their first 2 albums. I think they lost all sense of direction with Minutes to Midnight.
Sounds good when you're a teenager but it all starts to sound juvenile and childish pretty fast.
Think I slightly prefer Meteora for it's slightly maturer side.
There are 2 kinds of people in the world. Those who love this album, and those who pretend they don't.
Haha, I wouldn't go that far. However, even the most passionate LP haters I've met admit they liked songs from Hybrid Theory at first. I agree their music doesn't stand the test of time very well, but Hybrid Theory and Meteora are good for occasional spins. I prefer Meteora because it has less filler and is more consistent. Every album after Meteora ranges from respectable mediocrity to utter drek. _________________ on such a winter's day

I definitely don't listen to them often, but they're still good fun when I do. Nothing more, nothing less. _________________ All time
