As much as I love this album it pains me that it's come up as AOTD because all the hate for Queen is going to sweep through right about now. This isn't their masterpiece but still a solid rock album.

Well, I do think this is their masterpiece, principally because of the bad tracks on ANATO. And that album cover...

This was my favorite Queen album for a while. Since then it's been bumped down to #3, primarily for the weakness of tracks 4 and 5. However, the second side (Ogre Battle to the end) is borderline perfect. Ogre Battle and March of the Black Queen are among their best works, and Seven Seas of Rhye is a really solid album closer. The first three tracks are quite good as well. Overall a very solid album.
All the Queen hate that's going to come through in a minute is going to make me sad

The album cover makes me nauseous. The music more so. I think I hate Queen more than any other band ever, although there are a few who come close. Brian May is a pubic louse of a man.

I like Night At The Opera more, but this one's pretty good too.
