Yep. Admirably done.

Quick question. can someone refer me to a good place to look up what awards people have won? I'm struggling. I'll be able to find the major actors easily, but the odd producers not so much.

If anyone else has this problem, this is what I typically use...

For instance, on Megan Ellison's IMDb page, just below her pictures you'll see "Nominated for 3 Oscars. Another 5 wins and 12 nominations". Click "See More Awards" and you'll be taken to this page.

I especially like this because it lists Oscars, BAFTAs and Golden Globes first. Which are the three you factor in when determining their cost.

Hi I added in 2 misc's and swapped over Keira Knightley for Patricia Arquette. Hope that's okay. If not let me know.

Team picks are allowed until October 31st. Do as you please (though if someone picks Keira Knightley and you later decide you want her back, you still need to tack on additional points).

Okay, I think five days is long enough to wait. Here's the draft for a film this year which I'm calling...

Behold the Turtle!

In an homage to the B-movies of yesteryear (though some say a blatant attempt to do a knockoff of Interstellar), a spaceship from the near future named 'U.S.S. Jhereko' is sent out on an expedition to find a future home for mankind. Electrical problems cause the ship to crash land on a distant planet where all the animals are tiny. Except, strangely enough, all the ones that want to kill humans.

As the valiant crew flees, they stumble across a seemingly wise and understanding turtle that stands three stories tall. It shields them from the horrible monsters that strike from every side, on this strange mysterious planet they've named "Meccalecca"

All throughout this, the valiant crew learn many important lessons about, I don't know, humanity and stuff.

Producers: Megan Ellison (free), Reese Witherspoon (25) and Teddy Schwarzman (free)
Director: Tim Burton (free)
Cast: Benedict Cumberbatch (0+10 = 10), Christoph Waltz (50+10 = 60), Amy Adams (5+10 = 15), Rosamund Pike (free), Robert Duvall (40)
Screenwriters: Dan Futterman (free) and Scott Alexander (5)
Cinematographer: Hoyte Van Hoytema (free)
Editor: Lee Smith (free)
Original Score: Mark Mothersbaugh (0+10 = 10)
Original Song: Bret McKenzie (10)
Visual Effects: Paul Franklin (20)
Miscellaneous: Richard Linklater (0+10+10 = 20) for Bad Wig Consultant, and Christopher Nolan (free) for Best Use of Gratuitous Gargling Sound Effects Mixing

Points used: 210
Points remaining: 90

Do we gain anything from having leftover points?

I was actually thinking about this yesterday as well. I can't decide whether it would be fair to add our leftover points to the total we get throughout the game or not.

Opinions?

Hmm. this could be fair. it's basically a handicap. You're taking more chances picking underdogs, so it makes sense that it'd pay off in some way
