Yeah, I'm a swan, so you can guess which of his holds a special place in my heart. 
Michigan is an entirely lovely album and I'm sorry that everyone is convinced Illinois is better. Your state is prettier, too.

Awwwww I've never heard such nice words about our state. Thanks!
But yeah, both records are very fine. I'm not about to put Sufjan in with the likes of Dylan or whatever, but he's building a nice catalog.

I still see people raving about TAoA and it has some originality to it, can't say that it'll be remembered for sure or anything but I wouldn't be too surprised.

Well I'm basically asking the question Is Sufjan a legend, with the likes of a Dylan? Not yet in my opinion, but with the way things are going he could be. But the idea of this thread is Future Classics, so I am saying a lot of his stuff will be classic.
