Some of the early Beatles are underrated. Please Please Me,With The Beatles and Beatles for Sale.Of course when compared to what came after those albums would seem ordinary and however i had listen to ton of other pop albums from the 60's and few of them are as memorable and enjoyable to listen to.

Same with The Beach Boys(Surfer Girl,Shut Down Volume 2,All Summer Long,The Beach Boys Today!,Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!).

Hmmm... While I agree that Beatles for Sale is underrated in the Beatles catalog, I think most critics and the public gush all over their first two releases (& rightly so!)

I love the Beach Boys but I always remember their early releases being marred by obvious filler and some clearly second-rate material which is not the case with any of those early Beatles albums.

Outside of the Beach Boys first three records; going to disagree. Little Deuce Coupe, All Summer Long, Shut Down Volume 2, Today!, Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!) are all leagues ahead of Please Please Me, With The Beatles, Twist & Shout, A Hard Day's Night, etc.
