Imitating other artists is cheap. It's like radiohead did their thing and good for it.
I meant that as the sound of Pink Floyd is really hard to achieve, which is the band that was able to recreate something as complex as that. Any band that can achieve, already is a special band.
DARKSIDE's Psychic album has some Pink Floyd-esque moments in there but it's not a complete ripoff, It just has the feel to it with some of the guitars.

I think Radiohead would be beyond livid if they were ever perceived as a mere PF copycat act. This thread would be better off being called 'can anyone help me find something as good as post Syd-era Pink Floyd, cos I think they're the best'. Doesn't exactly trip off the tongue though.
