What's your song that always brings you up when you're down?

I usually listen to my 4 most favorites songs:
If I Ever Feel Better - Phoenix https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJp3kVelU3c
Honeymoon - Phoenix https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuzEAwfgsl8
Step - Vampire Weekend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mDxcDjg9P4
Follow Through - Freelance Whales https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyeMCkRVRvQ

4 great songs with a touching meaning.
How about you?

Usually anything beatle related.

Music usually has to be turned up loud.

Bruce Springsteen

Oasis

Louis Armstrong - We have all the time in the world.

Usually anything that has a relentless drive to it.

I guess bee gees' 1st or outkast's the love below, but when I'm down I usually find myself listening something rather depressing.
So I think daft punk's human after all or Kanye West's 808s & heartbreak rather give me the satisfaction when I'm depressed.

It depends on which kind of sad I am. Sometimes I'm the kind of sad where something bad has happened to me and I just need to embrace and accept it. In that case, I'll usually listen to an album that is as slit-your-wrists depressing as my life is at that moment because it gives me something to relate to. The ones that come immediately to mind are Perfect from Now On (especially), Unknown Pleasures, and The Holy Bible.

Then again, sometimes I'm the kind of sad where nothing matters, and when I'm in that mood I can hardly be bothered to listen to a whole album. In those cases, I usually just pick one of the happiest songs I know (preferably one with a lot of nostalgia) and listen to it on repeat. Disney songs are common here. Here are a few of my go-tos:

And then sometimes I'm the kind of sad where I've taken too much DXM, in which case all music is scary.

when i'm down i usually listen to down music. it's more honest that way.

i used to have a self-compiled 333-song "beauty in darkness" 3 mp3-cd compilation for such occasions but i haven't listened to it in a while and would probably want to update it if i recompiled it again. (i put it together around 2000, so it's a little outdated by now.) nowadays, i'll just pick an album or an artist. the national and the mountain goats worked good for me last time i was in a rut.
