Cross Paths was the most enjoyable album of the tournament, or at least of those three.

All of these albums are pretty good, but 16 Horsepower and Jorge Ben both outdo Motifs in every way. I chose Jorge Ben as my vote.

Two absolute gems and one album I couldn't give a stuff for.
I remember when I added Cross Paths to the database a while ago whilst compiling my Indie Pop chart - I never for one minute thought it would end up being something of a BEA favourite. It is a charming, delightful record, perfect for long drives, campfires or snuggling up on the sofa with your nearest or dearest (or dog/cat if you'd rather). A whole heap of credit must go to Brandon for giving it the exposure it rightfully deserves.
Africa Brasil is a masterpiece that on any other day could and should walk this, but there's just something about The Motifs you can't fail to like. They're the sickly sweet ice cream you really shouldn't have but you can't help eating up in dollops. They're cute, ace and adorable, and this album is tip-top and tweerific. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing

16 Horsepower was a nice discovery for me... I guess the purpose of the tournament in the first place... _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.

This, to me, seems like the perfect final. All three albums are stellar and among my favorites of the tourney. Although I adore The Tired Sounds of Stars of the Lid, I'm happy that it didn't go through to the final because that album has already well-solidified itself as a BEA classic. I am beyond happy that Brandon nominated Cross Paths because without him nominating it, I would've still known it as "that one album Poe and Brandon have on their charts", rather than the twee pop masterpiece that it is. Although I love both other albums here, they just don't reach the beauty of Cross Paths.
Cross Paths, easily.
I also want to add that this tourney was made for the sole purpose for others to find an album that isn't very well known that they love, and Cross Paths definitely fits the bill for me. I hope many of you have found album that you love through this tourney, and it was a pleasure to run it. But don't thank me, thank the users who took the time to nominate these wonderful albums. This is why I love BEA

How long is this match up? I'd like to give each one another listen if I have time.

Put me down for this opinion as well. If Repetition had made it through it would have been a way harder choice, but of these three Africa Brasil is by far my favorite.
