What can I say about these two guys? They're both geniuses in their field. Sam Rivers is a genius in avant-garde jazz composition. Bob Marley is... himself.

Crystals by Sam Rivers, nominated by Kool Keith Sweat.

Natty Dread by Bob Marley And The Wailers, nomintated by noWaxJim.

It's the I-Threes that make Natty Dread Marley's finest hour, at least in my eyes. You could not want for a better female backing trio in Marcia, Rita and Judy - the contribution they make to Bend Down Low is sumptuous. That and it contains one of Marley's lesser-known gems in So Jah Seh.
Never heard any Sam Rivers before tonight... And (with any luck) chances are I never will again. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing

Went with Crystals, by a whisker. If it had been Burnin' or Catch a Fire it would've been a different story, but Crystals was probably my favourite discovery of this whole tournament (granted I've still got a few left to check out). If anybody would like to recommend me some other Sam Rivers stuff to check out, I'd be very grateful. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

I hate to vote against Marley, but Crystals is really a trip.

I will solve this one using a proof. (Although tbh, this was pretty easy which shocks me. )
Jazz
Crystals > Batsumi
Chill, laid back tunes that make me want to smoke up
Batsumi > Pick a Dub > Natty Dread
Therefore
Crystals >> Natty Dread
I'm with Skinny though. If this had been either Catch a Fire or Burnin', I'd have gone with Marley here. No question. Like Radio City those two are just part of me.

I actually like both Streams and Waves better than Crystals. Never heard anything outside of the '70s from him though.
