We're coming down to the end now. Two matches, the winners will meet up in the finals. The losers will meet up in a 3rd place battle. A week from now, we will know what the best album of 1974 is.
No introduction needed. You know these albums by now...

Rock Bottom, easily. I've said throughout that I do like Kimono My House, which is a fun and knowingly self-indulgent set of winkwinknudgenudge pop songs which probably deserves its place in the semi-finals, but it just doesn't resonate with me to anywhere near the same extent that Rock Bottom does. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Kimono My House should win this. Other album is this old dude on an acoustic guitar. It's close to the meaning of boring

Have you even listened to Rock Bottom? The record contains almost zero guitar. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

Cmon we can do better than that. Such questions come across as.... can't really think of the word. It's like something someone less prolific in music listening would say as a knee jerk reaction to someone disliking a favorite album. You're seen as a champion of sorts here so take it easy

The record still contains almost zero guitar though.

We can also do better than criticising albums for things that simply aren't true. Quite honestly, it makes it look as though you've never heard the record in question. If you don't like Rock Bottom I have no problem with that, but the primary instrument on these songs is a keyboard. If you'd listened to the album, you'd know that there is no acoustic guitar here. Which leads me to the conclusion that you haven't heard the album, which is fine. You don't need to pretend darling. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs.
