Don't know if I'd put it above their 80s material, but it's probably the best thing Sonic Youth has done in the 90s. Some pretty damn awesome songs included in this release.

Outside of Daydream Nation, Sonic Youth albums are mostly awful. Confused

totally disagree. Sonic Youth was consistently great.

People hated this one for being too safe, but I love Chapel Hill, Nic Fit, Drunken Butterfly and pretty much the whole thing.

yeah,this album had a very different feel from their 80s masterpieces, but I LOVE how hard it rocks. I'm really glad that they made one totally 90s Alt Nation album. It's really like nothing else in their discog.
