God works in funny ways.

When I joined five years ago, this was around #199, way ahead of Ys. and Black Sabbath's debut. Now it hardly makes the top 1000.

Then again, if this was so high up, could Crazy Frog's Crazy Hits be too far behind?

Jon Foreman is one of the more underrated songwriters around.

Here's what this album is.

It's fairly catchy, radio-friendly what would probably be called "alternative rock". Jon Foreman has a good voice and is a pretty solid songwriter. Instrumentally, the album is fine, though nothing incredible, and there's a slight bit of variety, though most of the songs follow similar structures. In the end, the album is catchy and just nice to listen to. It's one of those albums that isn't going to floor you, but you probably won't hate it either. It has some great singles ("Dare You To Move", "Meant To Live", "More Than Fine", "This Is Your Life") and is, without a doubt, Switchfoot's best album.
