Being Australia Day today (26th January), I thought I would commemorate with my best 100 Australian Albums of all time here.

However, if anyone else wants to celebrate and spruik their favourite Australian albums and musicians, do so here!

Neat, great chart! Happy Australia day! Haven't listened to that much Australian music actually (Well besides the very big names), guess Since I Left You is probably my favourite Australian album though.

Cool idea though, I may steal it come for Ireland at some stage (I guess our national day would be Paddy's day...). Anxious

It's very brave of you not to include any Tame Impala. Attempting to broaden the horizon of my somewhat limited knowledge of Australian music.

While I'm not the biggest fan of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, all the other albums I have some curiosity to check them out. Happy Australia day! Very Happy

The Motifs! Very Happy They are the best, naturally. The events and surroundings that influenced their lives and lead them to making such beautiful music make Australia the best by extension. Happy Australia Day! ^_^

Oh The Cat's Miaow is Australian! I never knew. Hollow Inside is a classic track. Wonderfully wistful.

whaat they're both from Melbourne. What's going on in Melbourne and why is it so sweet and wonderful? Do random passersby kiss you on the cheek and give you flowers?

Didn't realise the Impala Army would be after me. I prefer their singles over their albums.

Hope this chart helps with those horizons

Birds Of Tokyo. Oh no no no no. You can't not have Impala or Cut Copy then have them

and this Triple J Hottest 100 is terrible not to mention it was total bullshit that Taylor was disqualified.

Happy Australia Day fella.

Thoroughly recommend The Lucksmiths for some dizzy indie-pop thrills and spills:
