Automatic 04 vote because I can't vote against Madvillainy and I can't vote for Sweet Home Alabama (possibly the worst classic rock song ever).

The singles on the '74 team are so bad that they kinda counteract all of the potential in the albums...

I don't think I could ever vote for a team with Barry White, Cher, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Olivia Newton-John on it over Madvillainy alone.

Has to be 2004.

Few match-up’s could make me vote against Madvillainy/Good News/Van Lear Rose; which is hell of a Gowi-style trifecta from hell.

Haha! That's what I was worried about last week along with the well known Joanna Newsom effect. Laughing

Leaning 1977 actually due to Deep Purple, Neil Young, and early period Queen. I remeber that Mirage album getting a bit of hype during the '74 tourney and want to give it a spin before deciding. '04 is solid, but '74 is pretty awesome too in the album department.

So Thunder, Lighting, Strike alone would make me automatically vote for 04

So I did

Yep, he's not wrong. That and The Rat which is one of my all-time tracks to play when I've got a right nark on. There's nowt on the '74 team that stirs any emotions in my twee heart whatsoever.

04 is not perfect but this time '74 leaves me cold, except for On the Beach and the Barry White single. '04 easy.
