Awwwww yeah

This was my fifth-grade homeroom teacher's favorite album a decade ago, so we'd always hear it nonstop when doing stuff. "Sitting Waiting Wishing" is a genuinely amazing single, and this is probably the best Jack Johnson ever got.

Perhaps not a groundbreaking release, but nonetheless a good album to be merry to.

Sadly this was the last Jack Johnson album I really enjoyed start to finish. I think his sound just got a bit tired after this, but it was still somewhat fresh at the time. Sure it's simple and a bit predictable, but it'll always be a great summer album if you just take it for what it is.

Total and utter tripe. The sort of thing Tarquin and Clitorissa play at their middle-class BBQs to show off their new Cath Kidston gingham tablecloth, Weber 'man oven' (gas instead of charcoal, obvs.) and the over-priced Fair Trade coffee that they bought at the Ideal Home Exhibition. It's got as much going for it as a chocolate teapot.

I'd rather listen to a fox shitting on my grass.

1. What's so bad about low-key barbecue music?
2. What's so bad about chocolate teapots? (Especially if they have opium tea in them like in the Girls pilot.)
3. What's so bad about foxes shitting on grass? I think it could sound great as a lowercase album, particularly if the fox had diarrhea.

Never heard the album (or even the artist), but now I kinda want to, just for curiosity's sake.

If you've ever walked through a Macy's, you've heard Jack Johnson
