As if wealth and talent were always related. No, I'm not talking about his wealth, I've said he's underrated "in places like this website". The Chronic currently sits at #338 when it should be in the top 150 at the very least and has a laughable average rating (77/100). He's number 240 in the overall artists ranking while Kanye has already cracked into the top 50. His average rating is 70/100. Sorry, but that looks pretty underrated to me.

Ooh I had one of them:

Can't remember it playing much country though. Certainly not after I'd filled it to (36MB) capacity with 6 filthy techno mp3s (128kbps, natch)
God bless you and it and heavily compressed data files and earbuds that made your ears hurt and fraying cables and unreliable USB leads and all the little children and outmoded technology always! _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing

The 90's output from Hefner really impressed me.

The Fidelity Wars by Hefner
And they also released an ace compilation of singles and b-sides that I must get added to this site called Boxing Hefner.

Going along with Dr. Dre (as an artist who doesn't necessarily get their due on THIS site) I would say Soundgarden. Obviously they are a well known band, but they have a lot of quality material, none of which cracks the top ten in their respective years of release on this site.
On a grand scale, Soundgarden really isn't that underrated as they are lumped in with Nirvana and Pearl Jam most of the time, but you wouldn't think so just by seeing the results from this site. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.

Fair cop. I always have difficulty separating statements about "this site" from statements about "the forum," just because I feel like it's already pretty straightforward that most of the non-forum users on the site tend towards rockism, at least in my experience. I agree those metrics make Dr. Dre underrated, and I agree that apples to apples comparisons against rappers like Kanye and Kendrick betray the skew of how many users actually take hip hop seriously on the site and once again what the demography of those who do is. In the context of the forums, however, I was baffled. And no, I don't equate wealth with talent at all, but it's hard for me to find someone underrated when they have made literally billions based on their image that originally came from making music that was critically well-received as well.

Actually, from the latest report that I heard, you are right. Dre is 2nd I think. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.

The figure I was trying to cite was that he was the first rap billionaire chronologically, as opposed to "first place" rap billionaire. My mistake.
