Beast Mode by Future & Zaytoven
It's pretty decent. BUT, It's brief length is what saves it from getting a lukewarm rating. I do like Future's mixtapes if I want to blast some music in my car to feel like a badass, but for serious listening they fall short. DS2 is one for serious listening since it offers some good variety to the table. But so far I have listened to Monster and now Beast Mode and I feel like I'm getting the same recipe in the majority of these tracks (with some exceptions like Codeine Crazy, Throw Away, and Where I Came From). I'll eventually hit 56 Nights another time.

So in about 7 hours I will be attending the Travis Scott concert in Cleveland. I will post about it tomorrow in the afternoon since I will likely be tired and drunk when I get back. Also, I have a 4:30am practice in the morning. Ain't no rest for the wicked. _________________ ...and for dessert!

Rodeo by Travi$ Scott
While I wait for my friends to finish up their classes so we can head downtown for the concert, I obviously had to give this one more listen and get a little more acquainted with the lesser listened to songs on my iTunes library. I have to thank one of my buddies for introducing me to Antidote. From there on out I quickly became a fan. Gaahhhh it's like my immaturity as a young adult in one album. The epic trap-influenced (thanks, Fantano) production, the auto-tuning, the loud-ass bass... I can't get enough! This album is why I've been craving so much hip-hop lately! It brought me to Future's DS2 and mixtapes, so I must give it some credit for that! I love this album so much, I moved it up to my fourth favorite album of the year!
Rating: 95/100
Now we wait for the real Rodeo... _________________ ...and for dessert!

So here is what I got from the Travis Scott concert:
He couldn't have picked a more perfect title for his album and concerts. Rodeo. Holy shit. For the opening act, I believe his name was Doubie F (?), my friends and I were in the back of the pit because we arrived a little late. This opening act sucked. No one knew who he was, his songs didn't seem that impressive, and we were also next to a big group of drunk high schoolers who were absolutely annoying and were shoving literally everybody. And I mean everybody. I mean, they shoved a group of black guys twice their size and they flipped out. In retaliation, the group of guys screamed and pushed the high schoolers out of our area, which was lovely. Then an intermission DJ came on and played some GREAT songs. I heard everything from Drake, Kanye, Kendrick, Future (A WHOLE LOT OF FUTURE), Bobby Shmurdah, Fetty Wap, and more. This was when the crowd started raging and I found myself about 5 persons away from the front of the stage after going crazy. It was so fun to chant "I JUST FUCKED YOUR BITCH IN SOME GUCCI FLIP FLOPS," with the crowd along with many other fun sons! Hell, I was so happy I knew all of them!
Then, Travis came out. He opened with Pornography which was the second chillest song he played throughout his set. Let me tell you this right now if you are thinking of going to a Travis Scott concert:
IF YOU ARE THE TYPE OF PERSON THAT GOES TO CONCERTS ONLY TO LISTEN TO THE MUSIC AND JUST STAND THERE, THEN THIS CONCERT ISN'T FOR YOU.
Now, I am not saying that you shouldn't listen to the music at all. That'd be dumb. What I am saying is that don't be the type of person to sit at the back of the venue just to watch and listen. Travis will call you guys out and embarrass the hell out of you (unless you have a legitimate reason why you can't rage such as a physical disability). This guy is wild in concert. And that's an understatement. When he is up there, he is screaming his lungs out, jumping all over the place, just being absolutely belligerent and it was so freaking cool. The crowd obviously followed through. I never stopped mashing and raging for his whole set except for Pornography and Drugs You Should Try. Oh My Dis Side was insane. Nightcrawler was insane. Mamacita was insane. Quintana Pt 2 was insane. 3500 was insane. Piss On Your Grave was menacingly insane. Maria I'm Drunk was insane. Antidote was incredible. Dear lord, after the concert I was SOAKED in sweat, it looked like I just got out of the pool. I was also so freaking tired, it was such a struggle to walk to the rapid. My knees ached, my voice was hoarse, and I was cold and wet. Everyone was also drenched in sweat and half naked, it was awesome.
Easily the best concert I've been to. I love wild shit like this.
Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure he chose to go to Cleveland on November 9th on purpose. The 5th anniversary of this album:
