Not much of a Police fan, and this album doesn't change anything for me. Roxanne is good, but the rest is super forgettable.

Yep, a police album. Great singles, rest shite. Every album the same. Just get a greatest hits and be done.

I'd agree that every album has some filler, and I love The Police.
I have all the albums on vinyl and CD, but mostly go for the 2CD anthology when I want a fix. It has all the singles, plus some album tracks I like, and bypasses the more forgettable moments.

Great debut album. Not much of a Police fan though. I don't really think that the hit songs obscure the others and that makes it a good listen. However, it doesn't really invite me to listen more albums of the Police.

I love those first few albums by The Police. A lot radio-ready material, but a few beats that hint at the more experimental side of The Police's sound that would really flourish by the end of their career.
Track picks
2. So Lonely
3. Roxanne
6. Can't Stand Losing You
10. Masoko Tanga _________________ Inversion Verses

They should have kept naming their albums with titles like this and the next two albums. When they stopped their albums weren't as good anymore.
