I guess this is one of those albums where nostalgia clouds my ability to judge it objectively, but I still love it as much as I did when it came out. Seeing as I was a freshman in high school at the time, it came out at just the right time for me to identify strongly with it. There's so much more here than The Middle and Sweetness (although both are fantastic tracks). It's a perfectly executed microcosm of early 2000s alternative rock. I always felt they were one of the more underrated artists of their era, with several standout albums.
