Pretty middle of the road pop-emo. Nothing to memorable. guitar licks are pretty standard, same with other instruments. Clearly half baked lyrics "Im learning cheating isn't faster".
Best songs: Bleed American, Get It Faster
Worst: Sweetness, Cautioners

The lyrics really speak to teenagers in a way that most albums aren't able to

There is no better lyric: I'm not alone cause the TV's on... yeah...I'm not crazy because I take the right pills every day.

Crimson and Clover, over and over.

The Sweetness

So much good... for my nostalgia at least.

Three singles are pure gold, the rest is ok.

It's not anything revolutionary or anything, but it's just a great feel good album from a fine band. It's a fun to listen, but pretty forgettable.
Best tracks: The Middle, Bleed American, Sweetness
Worst tracks: Your House, The Authority Song

Forgettable. Little here of interest besides "The Middle" and "Bleed American".

One of the greatest contemporary feel good records ever made. Nice background of their earlier work mixed with saccharine power pop that has a lot of heart with just enough frantic teenage dread and neurosis.

Thankfully, this album came in at the very last possible moment, because the mainstream rock era turned to shit right after this with Puddle of Mudd, Hoobastank and Trapt running town.

Follows a pretty standard formula, but does it much much better than most.
