I've heard mixed things about this album. On the surface, I like the idea of gospel folk, but I'd heard it was a bit preachy. Think I've got a demo version of one of the tracks (on a magazine freebie somewhere), so I should probably search it out and have a listen.

Really? This ranks this highly? How many Bob Dylan albums are in the top 3000? 18?! I love the guy, voice of a generation, Pulitzer prize, yadda yadda, but at some point don't you ask yourself "Should I listen to other artists?"

If I had to choose which of his Christian albums I like the best, I'd pick this one. I kind of like the music on it.

I like this album. It has quite a few good songs on it. Not all are good but it's quite a good album. And I love Sinead O'Connor's cover of I Believe In You which she did in the 90's. It was on her CD single Thank You For Hearing Me and it's beautiful - so well sung. He can write a good song Bob Dylan.
