I adore Your Queen Is A Reptile - one of my favourite albums of last year, and for me this is the highlight. Pity I have to vote against one of these. I like 'Beverly''s immediately catchy, heartfelt, post-Hold Steady take on John Cougar Mellencamp - like, a lot - but I prefer the Sons of Kemet song, which reminds me of the all-night afrobeat parties I used to go to in London. _________________ 2021 in full effect.
