Even though i love This Is Happenings and i believe Dance Yrself Clean is the best LCD Soundsystem song, this has to be my favourite record by them, i listen to it whenever i can. The production is fantastic and every song in here is amazing.

You can either dance with the infectious Sound Of Silver, feel nostalgic with New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down and even cry with All My Friends... this thing can be that powerful. Without a doubt one of the greatest 00's records.

My pick tracks would be Get Innocuous!, Someone Great and All My Friends

"Where are your friends tonight?"
"Where are your friends tonight?"
"Where are your friends tonight?"

Sorry I don't get this artist.
I appreciate he has some talent. I liked Daft Punk is Playing At My House single but I have yet to be set aflame by this artist. And I have listened quite a few times.
And I do like some artists from this century
Honest, Guv!

Yeah - if you've listened to this album in full 3x and other tidbits (that single is great), then maybe it just isn't your cup. New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down is incredible songwriting imo... as is 90% of the rest of this album. #49 on my overall and totally deserves that spot.

You are right.
I agree he is talented but just not my cup of tea.
I am sure there are artists on my overall top 100 people would disagree with.

Yup... that's David Bowie for me... Embarassed

Dude is super talented, but just isn't for me. I do dig a lot of his songs, especially I'm Afraid of Americans he wrote with Brian Eno, but can't really say I love a whole album cover to cover. Closest is the man who sold the world cause it's a bit groovy.

Fair enough
And that's a good album, Man Who Sold The World
But if you don't dig an artist that's fair enough

I do share your love of U2 though dude

We, a shrinking few. The charts haven't been kind to U2 (check how much they've dropped in AM's last post). And you might say rightfully so (them basically turning into the later years of the Rolling Stones), but as artists they were ranked 11th when I joined this site. I'm not saying that's their rightful place, but it seems it's uncool now to like U2. That's probably why i have them as my number one... even if almost any of my top 10 could be a number one for me.
