What does "special" album mean to you, and what are yours? (not being snarky, just curious).

don't ignore the drunk post.
i think, if i understand special correctly, he means, which albums had significant personal impact.
like, there's this old classical album with tchaikovsky's piano concerto that made me take up violin and a kevin burke album that encouraged me to leap from the classical world into celtic folk music. that u2 album that always sends me back to those camping trips my dad and i took as a kid or that other u2 album that inspired me to pick up guitar. the bjork album that challenged everything i knew about music or the svarte greiner record that challenged me ever further.
albums that are special beyond "hey, this is cool. i like it for the poly-rhythm and the counterpoint." albums that have had a net positive on your life. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.

Every album from my two late favorite singers Billy Joe Royal and Steve Sanders of the Oak Ridge Boys are my special albums.
God bless you and their families always!!!

Also awesome answer Craola.
Honestly any of my top 10 albums on my list have a special place in me heart for one reason or another on top of being top notch musical selections (imo, of course).
