My favorite album of all time. This album feels so deeply personal, I know Dylan doesn't say it was influenced by his divorce, but I firmly believe it was. It's an album that sounds like Dylan coming to terms with where his life is, coming to terms with his divorce. It's a beautiful album, each and every song is a Dylan classic, it's hard for me to accurately articulate what this album means to me.

I never understood why it's considered a masterpiece. Its a great album, but Dylan has a lot of great albums.

This is the album that finally got me into Bob Dylan. I wouldn't consider it my favorite, but without it I never would've discovered the others that I love even more than it.

Dylan, the profound and whimsical master of social commentary dips into his own self and story more than ever. This is my favorite Dylan album. Emotionally, this record hits harder than nearly any I've listened to. It's impact on me is actually remarkable as I think back.

At its worst, there are a couple of songs that perhaps overstay their welcome, and for some, the record may become a little one track minded in auditory fashion.

At its best, its a piece of art that can help to teach you how to survive the perils of fragility.

Like fuck, man. I nearly forgot about the level of emotion in the vocal performance of Meet Me In The Morning. So visceral. I'm not always really interested in an artist's more straight up blues stuff but Bob nails that one, and I think it's one of the album's many highlights.

Man, what an album. I love the adoration shown in the comments here. It is also the first Dylan album I loved and sometimes I still think it's his best. Lyrically it most definitely is.
Idiot Wind, what a song, some absolutely devastasting lines there.
