Not the whitest thing I ever heard, but it is very very white. But so is a lot of early british invasion-era rock (and pop!) music covering black artists' songs.

Definitely a couple misses on this album, but I've always loved it personally (though I get those who don't).
Also, I've never understood why everyone, including Paul and John, didn't like Hold Me Tight. It's always been one of my favorites of their early stuff - it's ridiculously catchy _________________ 2023 Chart

I feel like I always like Hold Me Tight in nostalgia but then I throw it on and it's definitely the most out of key vocal take the beatles ever did outside of chains.
