There's a super great Hanif Abdurraquib piece about this album which makes me wish I loved it. Alas, I do not. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

I always remember when this album came out. I liked it lots but it was the first time I really felt the generation gap. I was only 30 at the time but I felt
Hey this one's for the kids and though still young at the time I realized I wasn't down with the kids anymore.
Still I think Welcome to the Black Parade and Teenagers are both great 2000's songs.

I'm 30 now and I feel that way about UK drill. A lot of it is great, but it's not for me (or people my age, more specifically). However, we have a Point of Discussion thread for this exact conversation so I'll probably expand on this in there. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Can you share it? I would love to read it.
Being 28 years old, I somehow never got on the MCR hype train and never actively listened to them, apart from couple of uber present hits. So the first time I actively listened to this was last year, and I absolutely loved it, and made me realise that there are some great tunes here if you can tolerate the over the top emo aesthetic, which I definitely can. That stretch of songs from How I Dissapear to I Don't Love You is as good as any 4 song strech from the 00's. Fantastic stuff. _________________ All time
