Hard not to love this album. If ever I feel like I've rated this album too highly, I go back and listen again and it just warms my soul. The fact that half the songs are either covers or were covered (and made better) by other artists doesn't matter; the sadness rolled into hope and wonder is just incredible.

While many albums need to be listened to multiple times to really appreciate, this one can be loved on the first listen. And for me, every subsequent listen doesn't necessarily make me appreciate it any more or less, but it's stood the test of time and I believe it will continue to.

Can't recommend this one enough. Otis was a wonderful musician, songwriter, and person. Gone way too soon.
