I've never had the inclination to listen to this. I really like mellow Beck - Sea Change is incredible - but I just always assumed this was a bit boring, a middle-aged white dude doing yet another folk album. Seems I'm not alone. It getting a Grammy kind of sealed the deal. Even when it goes to an alternative artist like Beck or Arcade Fire, it's for a more middle of the road album (and I like The Suburbs, but still...).
