I would place it below Funkentelechy Versus the Placebo Syndrome myself, but Mothership is an exceptional album, better than anything Clinton had done before.

Joe S. Harrington, two decades ago, had Mothership Connection at #6 on his Top 100 Albums.

I’ve no idea honestly, but I wonder if this is the most sampled album of all time.

Edit: probably not on reflection. Though the samples are famous and highly influential for sure.

This is the most sampled album of all time. The last track is the origin of the Amen break.
