Stevie once told Petty that she would leave Fleetwood Mac if she could be in his band.

CSN (&Y) often come to mind when I think of vocal harmonies I really enjoy.

Also Beach Boys.

Also Beatles.

Also motown/soul backup singers.

All pivotal harmony singing in modern music.

As far as harmonies go, I can’t recommend these Austrian twin sisters enough. They are at their best covering the Beatles as in this gem:
