Just a terrific collection of immediately catchy, largely muscular, occasionally poignant pop bangers. The production choices are top notch - from the floaty faerie synths that kick of ‘Everywhere’, to the reverb-heavy, vaguely Latino soloing on ‘Family Man’, to the decision to make the vocals so prominent in the ‘When I See You Again’ mix that it may as well be acapella. It’s also their most consistent record (by some way), and it really feels as though everyone’s pulling their weight (and pulling in the same direction). One of my favourite records.
