Okay then! For me, this is the best Kate Bush album — after this, she bought herself a Fairlight CMI and was never the same again.

I'm not saying Fairlights are inherently bad though, nor am I saying her later albums are bad (except for 50 Words for Snow, which was about 49 words too many). If there's anything inherently bad going on here, it's probably me.

Kate was only 21 when this album came out.

She was light years ahead of her time.

And the album? It's pretty good. Very good in fact.

Not my favourite album by Ms Bush, but nevertheless I like listening to it.

The Babooshka video was the first time I saw Kate Bush, on TV. I was 5 years old.
I was entranced by her.
I thought she was like some sort of scary witch.

But I liked her very much
