Wow, my first comment on this chart is from 2013 and it looks like I'd revisited and revised (bumped up) my rating 3 times in the nearly 10 years (!!) since.

Great chart, great evolution over time. I commented something like this on Gowi's chart in 2020-ish, but I think it bears repeating: this chart is as good as, if not better than, any publication or professional critic's charts out there. I don't love every album on this, but the variety is stunning and everything featured is among the best of its genre.

Well, it convinced me to listen to Agalloch's The Mantle, which is something I probably wouldn't have done if it wasn't such a good chart!

(I'm still trying to decide if I actually liked it or not, but it's definitely an interesting record.)
