The perfect follow up too HB. The paranoid, nihilism of post punk gives way to , for this band atleast, an optimism and fresh air with baroque pop feel. That more then likely has to do with Edward's whose mind set predominates HB.
As much as I think HB is near perfect album EMG is just a warmer listen. There night and day, but in a good way, and in this case I take the day.
Better then anything Oaises ever did. Just my opinion
