(Heck, I keep posting these polls, but never mind )
So which is it? The Great and Awesome Debut, The Great and Awesome Second Album, The Great and Awesome Third Album, or The Great and Awesome Fourth Album? (Let's just ignore "Squeeze" for a moment, huh? It's not a real VU album, anyway. )

That's a toughie...
Personally speaking I'm not a big fan of Loaded. VU (3rd) and WLWH are corkers, but for sheer songcraft, the so-shit-it's-good 'production' values and being the archetype for 100s of leather clad freaks over the years (as well as the Nico factor) 'Banana' shades it. Just. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing

Ah. What a nice looking list
Velvet Underground & Nico (100/100) wins it for me
After that, it'd go
Loaded (90/100)
Velvet Underground (90/100)
White Light/ White Hear (90/100)
Squeeze (30/100)
And if 'VU' counts, it'd be after White Light with 80/100. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

I voted for White Light/White Heat. The Velvet Underground & Nico is flawless, but I keep coming back to "Sister Ray" so often that I think its mere presence on a record makes it a gem. The third album is very good, Loaded's at least good. For Velvet fans, as Hayden pointed out, the VU compilation is also a must-have.

Just had to give it to WL/WH--THOSE SOLOS OH GOD
And thank you for not soiling the list of options with that abortion of an album which shall not be named. But it's Squeeze. That I'm talking about.
Squeeze sucks.
Hard.

Are VU and Another View not considered proper Velvet Underground albums? I think you can make an argument that VU is, because a lot of those tracks were intended for a lost album. Anyway, I like the quieter, more mellow side of the band best, so my fav is the third self-titled album.
