I love Gorillaz, but I haven't even listened through this one.
I was kinda put off by all the rap, which has been an element I've more tolerated than enjoyed on previous albums.

I liked the other Gorillaz albums for being eclectic and all over the place. This one is less exciting in that regard.

Bizarrely for a fictional studio band, this was excellent live at Glastonbury the other year.

On Melancholy Hill is now one of my favorite songs all time, I just can't get over it (and I hope that i never will). Gorillaz was one of the first bands I start to listen and I never expected a band evolve this much. Love it. (plus Yukimi Nagano collaborations are awesome).
