This album makes you happy to be alive. That's among the highest praise I can give to any work of art.

For an album to be made in the past ten years and already have such a cultural impact is incredible, but it's understandable - the songs here are nothing short of magical.

Arcade Fire has an almost indescribable talent of putting heartfelt emotion into all of their songs that few other artists can capture.
I think the simple yet oddly powerful lyrics make it feel instantly personal, but deserve a second, more careful, listen.

Best album, in, like...ever. Smile

It really is amazing. Apart from the fact that I do think it's the best album ever, it should've been considered better than Kid A.

It's just this generations thoughts about life, their struggles, and their emotions. I don't think any other album has every clicked to me more.

Funeral works more as an album than anything else. Best track thought imo is Wake Up.

100/100 of course.

The Fire in the Arcade caused everyone to die, who then had a Funeral for them.

I have only recently started loving this album, but... wow. Truly one of the best albums of the past decade. One of those albums were any of the tracks could be the best one. My personal favorite is probably "Neighborhood #1", but "Rebellion (Lies)" or "Wake Up" are great as well. One of the more moving albums I've ever heard as well. While I wouldnt' rate this in the top 20 albums of all time, it's a close contender for the top 100.
