I'd love to be able to lie in a dark room and really focus on the music I'm listening to but sadly after about 30 minutes I will fall asleep Razz

So I usually listen to music when browsing the Internet, tidying my room, cooking, walking my dog etc.

I seem to get most enjoyment out of music when I'm cooking, funnily enough.

It's always with me.

Gym, walking, commuting, working, in the background with friends, drinking, going to sleep!

A wonderful companion!

Just about all the time.
I listen while i drive.
I really enjoy listening to music while im going real fast and skidding sideways on my longboard.
I listen while chillin at home.
Sometimes I listen to music while I'm making music on my guitar, but not typically.
I've noticed though that I analyze music best while I'm driving. Its probably my favorite place to listen to music because its the place where i have the least distractions.

i've actually being listening to a startlingly low amount of music for the past week or so... like only several songs a day. sometimes only one or two. it's odd, i just don't feel inclined to listen to music! we'll see how long this lasts for...

That sounds like a horrible week.

I read somewhere not long ago that you should listen to at least 10 songs a day because it improves mood or something, and it struck me how little that is. I'll listen to more than that just in the car to and from work.

My favorite way to listen to music (may have mentioned this further back in the thread) is through headphones in the dark. If I listen to an album a couple times driving or while on the computer and can't make my mind up on it, i'll try it this way and almost always i'll be able to decide if it's for me or not.

You almost jinxed us, you bastard! Razz

Will you have the proper respect for the Ravens & Joe Cool next year. Laughing

What a fucking game! One of my faves of all time. Ravens-Pats now have one of the best rivalries in all of football. Must see tv.

Oh, yeah. I used to love listening Disintegration on headphones in the dark back when it came out. Gave me the chills.

I wasn't excited when they ended up with the Ravens, easily the toughest mathup they could have drawn. I thought when they went down 14 in the 3rd quarter that they'd most likely lose. I hate the Ravens, but that's mostly because they are a great franchise and I respect the hell out of them. Great game.

I like to listen to music while I do something, this way I can listen to slow albums or albums I don't like at first paciently. But it can't be reading or studying as I can only concentrate on music or reading, not both.

So generally I play music while I play on the pc, play card games, play on my PS3 or cook for example. It enables me to concentrate on the album while doing something almost mechanical. It's one of the best moments of the day.

I'm usually on here checking the ratings for each track. Or I'm doing chores, or reading.
