I have never liked a punk album (unless you count London Calling). I would very much like to see if I could, however. What would you recommend me? _________________ kill yr idols

Maybe could interest you with some songs, since it's such a wide genre. For some starters, check out:
Stiff Little Fingers - "Johnny Was"
Richard Hell and the Voidoids - "Blank Generation"
Misfits - "Last Caress"
Agent Orange - "Bloodstains"
Adolescents - "Kids of the Black Hole"
Dead Boys - "Caught With the Meat in Your Mouth"
Minor Threat - "Steppin Stone"
The Damned - "Love Song"

London Calling is very poppy, so maybe if you begin by pop-punk albums it will be easier. Have you listened to The Undertones' self-titled or Buzzcocks' Another Music In A Different Kitchen? They have the spirit of punk while being really catchy and all that stuff. The Ramones could work, too, but I guess you've already listened to them.

Only heard the first two Haven't listened to many punk albums because I haven't enjoyed many punk albums.
X was one of the few that's come closer to me liking it. It might have been the organ. The Soul Kitchen cover was great, as were a couple other tracks. _________________ kill yr idols

Albums are the problem for me. There are plenty of punk songs I like. _________________ kill yr idols

Yes I've tried Ramones. I'll check out the other two as well. I'm not sure if my enjoyment of London Calling comes from its poppiness or that I really wouldn't call it a punk record _________________ kill yr idols

I don't know how many of these qualify as punk albums, but whatever:
The Only Ones - The Only Ones
Parquet Courts - Light Up Gold
Public Image Ltd. - Metal Box
The Fall - Live at the Witch Trials
The Slits - Cut
Dr. Feelgood - Down By The Jetty
Johnny Thunders - So Alone
Elvis Costello - My Aim Is True
Iceage - You're Nothing
Television - Marquee Moon
The Pop Group - Y
Weezer - Pinkerton
Faraquet - The View from this Tower
The Cure - Three Imaginary Boys
The Modern Lovers - The Modern Lovers
Bad Brains - Bad Brains
Circle Jerks - Wild in the Streets
Magazine - Real Life
Actually, after going through this list, I've got a funny feeling that none of these are punk albums. Ho hum.
