Those songs are good and I do listen to this album in full (it is on my chart, it wouldn't be if i I didn't) but I still think Cuckoo Cuckoo, For Reverend Green, and Fireworks significantly outweigh the rest of the album.

Yeah, Animal Collective as a whole is lost on me. I enjoy Merriweather alright, and Spirit They've Gone has its moments, but neither does a whole lot for me, and the same goes for this one. Perhaps I'll try again someday.

Pretty much what he says... when reading these comments about reverend green and peacebone I was starting to believe those were really the only memorable thing in the record, but no. Chores and all the others really complete the scene. I didn't remember the names because I usually just let the whole thing play and forget to check.

"Cuckoo Cuckoo" and "Fireworks" (maybe "#1") are the only AnCo songs I seem to ever want to hear these days, so there's that

The For Reverend Green / Fireworks double-punch is close to perfection. And any album that has a closing track about a dog called Derek is surely worth all the adulation in the world. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing

A more enjoyable version of Merriweather Post Pavilion. It's still no Spirit They're Gone Spirit They've Vanished/Here Comes the Indian/Danse Manatee though, I never quite got into Chores and the ending tracks aren't half as strong as the earlier ones.

Love it! one of best album I've found through BEA. My current favourite track is Winter Wonder Land but they are all great from start to finish. also, love the tasty album cover _________________ If you're feeling sinister, Go off and Listen to Indie Pop

One of those records that I feel I should like much more than I do. It's cool enough, and pretty great at points, but it just doesn't resonate with me on any emotional level unfortunately.
