Bashung's best with "L'Imprudence". An absolutely wonderful collection of melancholy pop, arranged and produced in stylish manner (Bashung had listened to Portishead a lot and hired Utley for guitar works). Set the criteria of what could be expected of the best of pop-rock chanson for the years to come. Probably Bashung's classic.
