Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 69.8/100, a mean average of 69.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 69.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 18.1.

This is a guy on here, isn't it? Either way, this was high up in the charts and I decided to listen and came out greatly surprised. Very ethereal and atmospheric, and definitely a must-listen in the late night. I played it with a friend who spoke French, where I found out some of the lyrics on this are quite depressing haha...fits the mood though. Great job man!, I would really love to see more releases from ya!
I listened to it for the first time and I liked the instrumental but I don't understand the message. A French friend of mine translated me the lyrics. And it's really very beautiful. Metaphorical words about passing time, lost childhood and the condition of man in the 21st century. I don't realize it at first listen, but the melodic evolution is really realistic. One of the best albums of 2019.
much higher than average ... recommend
Couldn't get into it. Disparity between styles and no sense of what he is trying to achieve. A mish-mash that doesn't hold the attention and can be quite irritating.
