Wow, so sobering to listen to this knowing the outcome of the artist just weeks after the release.

God, what a colorful, often weird, often moving album. Maybe not totally my thing, but I dig it.

Very conservative music with a dark twist.
Beautiful record due to its combination of extreme honesty and gorgeous vocal arrangements.
Jarvis Tavernier is insightful guy and did a great job on this one.

David Berman's ultimate existentialist excersise. Deep mostly sad lyrics with delightful indie melodies. A memorable goodbye record, it's growing on me more and more.

The lyricism. The catchiness. The overwhelming sense of depression laced with sharp humour. This album is a masterpiece to me. (Edited)
