Had to stop. Not my thing. Way to hillbilly.
Listening to these home demos in 2019, they sound just as relevant today as they did in the early 1970s. It's just Townes and his guitar, and that's all he needed to make timeless music. Some great recordings we're made informally in livingrooms, like Scott and O'Brien's "Real Time," without the technicalities of hi-fi studio production.
I would prefer it if the recordings weren't so heavy on the noise reduction, but the songs still speak for themselves.
This is an enjoyable collection of songs that could influence any aspiring young songwriter, whether it's 2019 or 50 years from now.
