"Rock Me Tonite" is a classic, but everything else here is just alright. Good, but not great. "Can't Get Next To You" is probably the 2nd best track here. This is the hardest type of thing to review, because there's nothing (other than the hit song) that stands out as really good or bad. If this album was playing, I wouldn't turn it off, but I wouldn't go out of my way to find it either. Similar to his previous album "Emotions In Motion", but I would put this slightly above that one, actually.
Perhaps more memorable for it's unintentionally hilarious video which accompanied the single "Rock Me Tonite", (which MTV played incessantly much to my delight)Billy Squier lost all his Hard Rock credibility prancing around in his "Bedroom", and performing the most ungratifying shirt rip in the history of Rock and Roll. Still the memory of this track and the others on the album still bring a smile to my face. Check It out - and seek out the video if you want a laugh.
