Thought this was pretty good at first listen at the time. Then some of the lyrics started to resonate. "You'd swap it all in an instant for a good night out" is a horrible swipe at the working class from their home town (city) who decided to vote for that Brexit thing (that's not going too well at the mo), and because they did that in the eyes of the futureheads (and many others tbf) they are thick as fuck and if someone offered them some cans instead of a vote they'd pick that, like some swivel eyed father Ted show creation, cos like thick n shit. Horrible bigotry in the form of the antithesis. But the futureheads are clever though and Brexit people are thick and most likely racist so huzzah!!! Thanks guys for shining a light on this. We love you for it.
