Just discovered this album by earning mod points, ie completely by incidence. I expected a lot of this album as this was one of the main forces of seventies Scorpions, my favorite period of them and of course also because it features a lot of the tracks I very much cherish from their Live in Tokyo album (I also saw them live around that time).
So is really hoped that Uli would bring a fresh wind to this old songs (which sounded both proggy and unpolished at the same time at the time) and in a way he does but they all sound so clean and polished they even sound like seventies hardrock (lol).
Some of the versions are not bad and I cannot but give them a high score because they remain so good but a disappointment anyway.
